Wondering if anybody in here has tired Glycine powder?  I have been reading up on it and it seems like it'll be a good thing to add to my arsenal of "healthy" supps.  Joint care, improved skin, gut health, anti aging... Etc etc.

If so, how much do you take?

it can also decrease cortisol production by having a "calming" effect on the nervous system and a recent study has shown that it can increase protein synthesis:

The two best times to take it are post-workout and in the evening. 5-10g per intake but titrate to amount gradually as it can cause some diarrhea

I've taken it sporadically, usually a heaping tablespoon. It's like it extinguishes a fire in my gut. I tried to build a tolerance to UHT pasteurized milk and my guts did not like it, still recovering. Needless to say I won't touch milk unless it is raw.
