 I feel absolute best would.be from.food.sources as u will need less and.the.Vit.d in.fish is.in.its.most.optimal.form.coverted ready for.human.usce cod.liver oil.

The research on this looks promising. And it makes sense to supplement with vitamin D especially during the winter months where there isn't a lot of sunlight. This is the only vitamin I take daily now in addition to fish oil. 5,000iu everyday for me.

If u don't want to take a lot of supplements it seems.

Best way to really perfect health with ot a lot of things..is non defattened liver powder. One to thre tablespoons a day can be taken all at once.

Essentially will give.y every single mineral n vitamin needed. some u would need up to ten lbs of. vegetables to attain a single dose of a vitamin in liver..

And lsecobdly coconut oil .

man, I joined this forum just to learn about hormones but holy fuck you guys are honestly a gold mine of information on pretty much everything LOL

been supplementing 8000iu vitamin D for past 2 days, looks like i gotta start throwing some A and K in there too! What sort of doses do you suggest for those? I also take ZMA which from one of the links posted seems to do good things with these fat solube vitamins haha

Allow me to bump this important topic.

Just spoke to my anti-aging doctor.

He recommends 8000-10.000 ui/day to prevent diabetes type 1 and cancer...very important for us serious bodybuilders!!!!

Important to know the "liposolube" vitamins (A,D, E and K) are best absorbed taking in liquid form (in oil), in capsules and (perfect!) injectables...Not in pills...

vitamin D3 its better with vitamin K2

The endogenous serum metabolite of vitamin D (calcitriol, 1,25(OH)2 D3 ) is considered a true steroid hormone (D hormone), and like glucocorticoids (GCs) and gonadal hormones, may exert several immunomodulatory activities. Serum vitamin D deficiency (25(OH) D), and therefore reduced 1,25(OH)2 D3 availability, is considered a risk factor for several chronic/inflammatory or autoimmune conditions, including infectious diseases, type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and especially autoimmune rheumatic diseases (ARD). In ARD in particular, 1,25(OH)2 D3 regulates both innate and adaptive immunity, potentiating the innate response (antimicrobial activity) but reducing adaptive immunity (antigen presentation, T and B cell activities). Regarding a possible synergism between vitamin D and GCs, several studies show that 1,25(OH)2 D3 has significant additive effects on dexamethasone-mediated inhibition of human lymphocyte and monocyte proliferation. Conversely, vitamin D deficiency seems to play a role in increasing autoantibody production by B cells, and seasonal vitamin D declines may trigger flares in ARD, as recently shown. Finally, 1,25(OH)2 D3 seems to reduce aromatase activity and limit the negative effects related to increased peripheral estrogen metabolism (cell proliferation, B cell overactivity).

Take all your vitamins fat soluble vitamins in form.of.beef lover n cod liver oil. As u need fat to.absorb n utizle them anlng with all there cofactors. U dont.need supplemental forms.from.these as beef licer alone. At good amount sets u well over 100,000 iu. And vitamin.a will aswell boost tesosterone and is absolutly needed for proper protien synthesis. Its why the old.70s bbers took 100 to 200 dessicated liver tablets a day

If I take a lot of vitamin D in supplement(10000iu a day for a while) I've noticed that my hair doesn't like it much, it starts looking thin and brittle and I get a lot of dandruff, also teeth get some calculus on them. I think both of these are caused by excessive calcium uptake that too much vitamin D without enough vitamin k2 to compensate, making the calcium build up in places where you generally don't want it(surface of  teeth instead of inside them, in/on scalp instead of bones and hair, and probably in the arteries too)

so make sure to get your vitamin k2. or actually, all fat soluble vitamins, and in balanced doses
